Here it comes, another little post by ME. Today was cold here in Chi-town, but that didn't keep me from working at the office in the morning and then babysitting all afternoon and evening... Shoot, I needed the money, somebody's gotta pay the bills! (I never said that was me though) And that was about it for the day...

Tomorrow will be classes, work, and then a movie night with Evangeline, yeah! And Thursday thru Saturday I'll be on a camping weekend thing for a class I'm taking, but I hear it's going to rain so that should make things interesting.

TOnight while I was babysitting, I got Allie to play the "Australian Stick Game" that we did at youth group a few weeks ago - she loved it, and after each turn she totally crashed on the floor, laughing hysterically. It was amazing, she was entertained by something other than the TV!!! Anybody have any good games you would recommend to keep a ten-year-old occupied? Leave those in my comments!

"WOW, What Wonderful Weather!!!"

Actually, it's not but I thought I'd say it anyway, in honor of Simone. Today's weather was sort of junk, but that sure didn't stop us from having some good old fun! After church today, Mark and Phil and I went and did the traditional Chili's lunch thing, which was beautiful as always. Then we saw the film "Walking Tall" and I actually liked it! The story line was pretty good and I discovered what a HOTTIE the Rock is - C'mon, the guy plays a policeman, it couldn't get much better. And he totally beats everybody up with a great big board. Whap! I recommend it. (The movie, not getting beat with a board)

After that we had youth group and THEN we ate at Popeye's for dinner, so now I will be eating straight fruit for days to balance that out. But we had a good day and Mark and Phil didn't make me cry for once, although I must give them credit, they did try... But I stayed strong! I'm a survivor!

Yeah, so I'd better go and do some things around the apartment, seeing as I haven't been here since 9am. Peace out kids!

What a week, and only three more left in Chicago... I can hardly believe it. Today was a good one, one class was cancelled so I got to come home and take a nap! Then I watched some soccer on our field and tonight some friends came over to play cards, which was nice and relaxing.

Today I discovered that my roommate Evangeline has a stellar collection of music on her computer (new music always thrills me!), and I also learned that Nat King Cole's song, "For Sentimenal Reasons (I Love You)" is EXCELLENT and you guys should check that out. To quote Forrest Gump - "That's all I have to say about that."

I'd better run along now, our guys are playing soccer in the morning and I'm gonna be a good Soccer Mom and go watch. That's definitely the only thing worth getting up early for on a Saturday morning... Have a good weekend kids!
lots of love,
me

Well kids, she's done. I mean, it's done. The paper. It's done. Whew. Sorry, I've been working on that thing all day and now my ability to think is shot. But I like that it's all done, and I'll like it even better when I turn it in tomorrow so it's out of my hands.
Today I was at the library and then I went to my weekly babysitting thing, which went surprisingly well. Then I topped off the evening with some grocery shopping with Kate and Emily. Please don't be too jealous of me, guys, I know my big-city life is exciting... It did rain all day here in Chicago which wasn't too great but hey it's spring, what else do you expect?

Tonight Kate told me we only have 8 more days of classes before we graduate - score! It's actually like 3 more weeks or something, but 8 days sounds better to me. Then I go to San Diego, then to Seattle, then home again for the summer to work! Oh boy...

Ok enough typing for today. You all enjoy yourselves and make me some comments!

Paper paper paper! That's all that's on my mind right now - my research paper for my Marriage & Family Systems course. Oh well, this might be my last 10-pager EVER, so I shouldn't complain! Tell you what, come Wednesday morning there will be much rejoicing!

Still can't believe that I graduate from university in less than a month... Now the big "What next?" question looms on the horizon. I do feel that God is leading me to go to Scotland for a few years to work with Operation Mobilization in Glasgow, so I'm working through the application process now and waiting to see where the Lord leads me through that. Pray for me, please!

Ok that's all I can manage for now, I have to go back to the paper! But I tell you what, comments or emails would bring me lots of joy right now, so do what you can! Later guys!

p.s. Don't forget to shake it like a polaroid picture...
