La la laaaaaa! It's Friday morning, an entire week since I last posted and loads of stuff has happened! We had the Retreat, which went swell and as far as I know a good time was had by all! It took a few days for me to recover and catch up on sleep, but now I am back in action and ready to conquer the world of Youth Ministry! (With a little help, of course!)

Let's see, some good stories from the retreat... Well my friend Mark who came from Chicago to teach for the weekend told the entire group an embarrassing story about me that was only partly true, involving us being in a restaurant and what he claims was toilet paper being stuck to my shoe! (but really it was a paper towel, and I know this because I took it off my shoe!) But for the past 9 months or so, he has called me T.P. in light of the stuck toilet paper, and this weekend when he told the story, all the youth group kids started calling me T.P. too! Not exactly a respectable name for a youth leader; oh well, at least they'll still talk to me! Over the weekend, the Lord also really taught me about getting out of my comfort zone for Him, which is something I've been learning a lot about recently. Throughout my life He will ask me to do things that are naturally uncomfortable for me; but, if those things will glorify Him, then I need to stand up, step out, and do it for His glory!

Today I spoke on the phone with Stuart Harvey, who I'll be working with in Scotland. Some changes have been happening there lately with regards to the ministry, and I'm looking forward to talking with him about this more on Monday. Three more months to the big move! Ahhhhhh!

I must go work now... Remember Psalm 5:11, kids!

5 hours and counting!!! I feel rushed already... Oh well, I DID just get to the office and it's 1:00, so that's to be expected! So this morning I woke up, took a shower, then laid down on my bed to read my Bible - and fell asleep again! NOT a good way to start the day... But now I've had my coffee and I'm pretty much rarin' to go! So, have a good weekend everyone! bye bye bye bye bye bye bye... (sorry, that's the coffee talking)

I'm going on a RETREAT! Woo hoo! We leave in just over 48 hours - 42 teenagers, 15 adults, zillions of trees and some sweet Bible teachin'!!! Should be a great time. But, since there is MUCH to do before Friday, this will be all I'll blog for now. Look for a retreat update next week! My love to you all!
